I'm a PhD student in the Philosophy Department at Harvard University. I specialize in moral psychology, aesthetics, as well as social and political philosophy and its history (especially the work of Jean-Jacques Rousseau). Among my favorite writers on philosophical topics are Rousseau, Hegel, Marx, Freud, Simmel, Lukásc, Melanie Klein, Cavell, Anscombe, and Wittgenstein.

I'm also a painter. You can see some of my paintings here.

And I'm keenly interested in engaging philosophically with the visual arts (film as well as painting). I occasionally write about such things here.

I currently live in Oaxaca City, Oaxaca, Mexico.
